About UPSC Recruitment :-
Union Public Service Commission(UPSC) is an approved centralized organization which conduct various competitive Exam such as Civil Services Examination, National Defense Academy Examination, Naval Academy ExaminationCombined Medical Services Examination, Special Class Railway Apprentice, Indian Economic Service/Indian Statistical Service Examination, Geologists’ Examination, and Central Armed Police Forces(Assistant Commandant) Examination etc. The agency agreement is granted by Constitution of India.
It is an important entity of nation as Recruitment Rules of Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B” categories in various Ministries/Departments of Government of India are needed to build in Consultation with the UPSC. Its Consultation is also necessary during building/modifying Recruitment Rules for certain categories of posts under the Employees State Insurance Corporation, The Delhi Municipal Corporation, The New Delhi Municipal Council, and Employees Provident Fund Organization.
UPSC releases notification throughout the year for conduct of examinations .To get detail about exams and to apply online candidate need to visit on the official website of UPSC www.upsc.gov.in. Eligibility criteria and tentative month of release of notification of some UPSC exam are given below
NDA Examination: 12Th passed candidates and candidates appearing in 12th standard, are eligible to apply for National Defense Academy. NDA Examination notification will be released twice in a year through employment Newspaper .Age criteria for this examination, should be between 16.5 to 19 Years, No age relaxation is permitted for any candidates.
SCRA Examination: Special Class Railway Apprentices(SCRA) examination is Conducted by UPSC annually. To apply for SCRA Examination, applicant have to qualify 12Th examination OR Graduate degree course with Mathematics and must taken one of the subjects among Physics and Chemistry as their degree subjects, Final year Appearing candidates can also apply for SCRA Examination, Age criteria for this examination, should be between 17 to 21 Years.
For Civil Services Examination: Graduates in any discipline can applicable for this exam and the age should be between 21 to 30 years, Final year graduate candidates are also eligible for this Examination. Its Notification will Published either in the employment newspaper or in the UPSC Website, in the Month of February, And Eligible. Interested candidates can apply online for this examination. The examination is conducted in 2 Stages, Preliminary examination and Main examination.
For IES Examination: Indian Engineering Service (IES) Examination is conducted by UPSC every year. Engineering Graduate can apply for this examination and age limit should be between 21 to 30 years. Its notification will be published in the Month of February.
For CDS Examination : To apply for CDS one need to complete Graduate degree course form a recognized University and fall in age limit between 19 to 25 Years, No Upper age relaxation is applicable. Eligible candidates may apply for IMA/ OTA / Air Force / Naval Academy.
